THE FOX FISHING AND GOLF FESTIVAL

New Zealand's leading male pro golfer, Ryan Fox, was keen to give back to Waihi Beach, one of his favourite holiday destinations, so in 2020 Sports Inc. created The Fox Fishing & Golf Festival. The tournament is a unique four-person team competition, combining fishing prowess and golfing skill….plus plenty of friendly banter between competitors!

Now into its fifth edition, the event has been a great success with teams from around the country travelling to the iconic holiday destination to challenge Foxy and his celebrity skippers. And thanks to the generosity of all concerned, over $170,000 has been raised for the local Surf Lifeguard Services and Volunteer Coastguard.

In 2022 The Fox was awarded the National Golf Event of the Year at the Golf New Zealand Awards.

Sports Inc. looks forward to staging another epic edition of The Fox in December 2024.
